Most mornings I’m up at 6:00, and find the still, quite time is the time that I love to paint. It’s almost like a meditation and is the time I give to myself to just be fully involved in painting. Some mornings before I get to the easel, I spend some time on the computer visiting different art sites and getting inspiration from other artists and seeing their styles of painting. During some of the quiet mornings I find some sites are so beautiful that it almost takes your breath away. One such artist is Manuel Nunez of the Just Looking Gallery. I found the site thru another favorite painter, William Wray. Sue Lyons and Scott Burdick also have one of these beautiful sites, and thru their links I found German Town Gallery, and most all the artist there are a feast for the eyes also. Another one that I love is the realism painting of Niel and Karen Hollingsworth. Also Jeffrey Watts portraiture is stunning. All of these sites are worth checking out.

About Me
- Name: G. Caudill
- Location: Northeast, United States
I do daily paintings five days a week as a way to challenge myself and improve my work. Daily Painting was started by Duane Keiser, who is an amazing artist, and there are many fine artists pursuing this same discipline. I will be happy to see an improvement in my work. I have been doing art for along time, but not on a disciplined basis, and I’m hoping that the intensity of painting everyday will help me advance to where I would like to be as an artist. Thank you for stopping by my blog, and I hope that you enjoy it. Your comments are always appreciated.
